Group Travel from Salisbury to Stonehenge

Visiting Stonehenge as a group from Salisbury is entirely straightforward with the right approach. Here's what you need to know about group bookings on the Salisbury to Stonehenge Shuttle.

Group Capacity

Each shuttle departure holds a maximum of 12 passengers. Groups of up to 12 can book the same departure and travel together. For groups larger than 12, you would need to split across two consecutive departures ÔÇö which run hourly.

Pricing

Pricing is per person at ┬ú20 return ÔÇö there is no group surcharge. A group of 8 would pay ┬ú160 in total, all-inclusive (return journey, luggage storage and coffee for all 8 passengers). Compare this to 2 taxis at ┬ú40+ each way: the shuttle saves a group of 8 approximately ┬ú80ÔÇô┬ú100 over the return trip.

Tips for Group Bookings

Book well in advance ÔÇö departures have 12 seats maximum and popular times (particularly 10:05 and 11:05) sell out first. Designate one person to coordinate the booking, including the chosen return time, so everyone is on the same departure. Arrive at Caboose 15 minutes before the scheduled departure to allow time for coffee and bag storage.

Schools and Educational Groups

For school trips and large educational groups (over 12), please contact us directly on 01722 504858 to discuss a bespoke arrangement. Stonehenge is English Heritage managed ÔÇö school admission is priced separately and must be arranged directly with English Heritage.
