Departures from Caboose, 115 South Western Road, Salisbury SP2 7RR. Two minutes from the train station exit.
Return pick-ups from the Stonehenge Visitor Centre car park. Choose your return time when you book. You must have at least 2 hours between your outbound and return times.
Winter months (November to March): last two outbound departures and last four returns may not operate due to Stonehenge reduced opening hours.
The earliest departure gets you to Stonehenge by 10:40, just as the site opens and before tour groups arrive. Most visitors who take this departure choose a 13:40 or 14:40 return, giving them 3 to 4 hours at the monument.
A mid-morning departure from Salisbury lets you explore the city, visit the Cathedral, or have a proper breakfast before heading out. You arrive at Stonehenge by 12:40 and can take a 15:40 or 16:40 return.
Afternoon light at Stonehenge is exceptional for photography. Crowds thin out as tour groups leave, and the monument takes on a different quality in late afternoon sun. These departures suit anyone spending the morning in Salisbury.
